So Right by Rebekah Weatherspoon

In my last review, when I said the hurdles only lasted for a few pages, it wasn't a call for a book long fight. I sadly barely liked this follow-up. Both MC's were so annoying to me.

Throughout the whole book, I wanted to force Kayla to get out of her head and communicate with her partner. She seemed unhappy through the entire story which didn't make it great for me as a reader. More moments of fun and intimacy would've greatly helped me connect with the couple a lot more.

I truly hope this turns out to be a great character arch where Kayla learns that she doesn't have to take care of everyone at her expense. In the next book, I would like to see her speak up and take the space she needs.
