Arrows of the Queen
by Mercedes Lackey
I enjoyed this book, it felt like a fairly light and easy read with a lot of good (morally) characters in it. I particularly enjoyed seeing the main character grow and build a new family for herself among these people who can actually appreciate her.
The book does have its flaws with the progression of time and getting deeper insights into characters (I would have loved to read more about the main character's past to see how that has made her who she is) being just a couple of them.
I still want to read the next books in the series though to see what Talia's journey will look like and how she grows in the future.
