Our story starts when a young Daniel was taken by his father to The Cemetery of Forgotten Books and chanced upon a book called The Shadow of the Wind by a certain Julían Carax. When Daniel tries to find other works by this author, he finds out that there is someone on great mission of destroying every copy of Carax's books.
