The first book was fantastic! Chefs kiss! However, this book was a cluster fuck. It seems that Maas somehow forgot how editing works and how to narrow in on a plot point. This book doesn’t deserve anything more than 2 stars just because the last chapter was “shocking”. I’ll read ACOTAR if I want to spend my time reading into certain characters. No need to cross over. This series had so much potential after the masterpiece that was House of Earth and Blood.
