christmas book reading continues -- i could see this as a logical successor to Sally Rooney's plain but waxing style of writing, I think it could have been like 30% shorter, i would like to never hear the term 'nihilistic millenial fiction' ever again, and I am tired of the genre containing meditations on thinness (this is not a huge part of the book, but its in normal people too, and it kind of just sucks?). Anyways...it was fine. I liked Edith, a lot. Give me Edith's book!
