World building is great. The Amsterdam inspired Ketterdam is the perfect background for this group of misfits(/criminals) and the plot is written in a way where you never quite know what's going to happen. They'll tell you their heist plan, but then during the execution you get to know so many more parts of it, or parts that are completely different to what you thought. Really lovable characters as well, with a character with PTSD, a character that has been sexually assaulted, a character that struggles with addiction, a mixed raced character, lgbtqia characters. I loved it.
