How this book pressed the right buttons:

Rating: ★★★★
At first I thought I was going to rate this a 3.5 stars at most, but we got to the ending and I read that last paragraph, and then boom… I was hit and I just loved it more.
It was so raw, explicit, honest, sad, and beautiful.
This is just me now:

The things that I like
☽ The pacing was quick and the narration kept up with it. The story was engaging and I loved that it did not only focused on the relationship itself but we also got a lot of Edie’s history and her family. I loved how it talked about race, sex, art, and social classes.
Granted, this book took an unexpected turn (for someone who did not read the synopsis and just jumped right in), I found that I was kind of okay with it. Although I thought things would have gotten more interesting, it was still an enjoyable read.
I got so emotional at some parts, because I think, “oh hey, that’s me” or like “same thoughts”, and the end was just so heartbreaking and… i just can’t.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
In sum:
If you’re looking for something quick to read but get a lot of insight from, you should definitely pick this up.
If you want feelings but the dark and gloomy kind, go ahead and read.

I have great breasts, which have warped my spine. More facts: My salary is very low. I have trouble making friends, and men lose interest in me when I talk.
