Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson

4.0

A fascinating book that really highlights the atrocities committed to people of colour, particularly in America. The comparison between how Germany and America honour the people that committed atrocities (The Nazis and The Confederacy respectively). It's interesting since America has tons of statues that commemorate enslavers whereas Germany have memorials to victims of the Holocaust and have no monuments related to the Nazis or Hitler.

A very enlightening read, especially for those who are interested in learning more about racism and discrimination.
