The Mystery of the Blue Train
by Agatha Christie
A clever plot, interesting characters and an intriguing murder. Agatha Christie never disappoints. Hercules Poirot solves the murder commited on the Blue Train by looking at facts that can be easily missed, but were definitely there.
Besides Hercules Poirot, the authors ability to write ‘resourceful girls’ as she quotes it, is one of the best parts of the book. Miss Grey was a clever, smart, resourceful, intelligent, and a very fun character to read.
The mystery itself was so well written that it had me on the edge on seat, wondering and changing my suspects every chapter. I assumed every character to be guilty but the actually culprit was hidden very cleverly in the plot. It is an amazing quality of this author.
