Some parts of this book seemed a little too far-fetched to actually have happened. However, Tori is very clearly an unreliable narrator so that may be the point. There also were a bit too many pop culture references for my liking, but I can very clearly tell that Alice wrote this when she was 17 and that we are the same age. I do like the relationship between Tori and Michael though, and am very glad we got Heartstopper from this book. And okay fine I’ll read Catcher in the Rye and Pride and Prejudice now.
