Home Is Where the Bodies Are by Jeneva Rose
4.0
Sometimes when I read a thriller, I think I know who the bad guy is. Then the author throws in a curve ball, and I second guess myself. Then I am wishy-washy throughout the rest of the book questioning my detective skills. Jeneva Rose executed that very well in Home is Where the Bodies Are.
This book entertained me, and I am sad I got it from the library instead of purchasing the cool VCR Tape book cover for my shelf. I liked the 90's references, and I enjoyed the suspense. I noticed some reviews talked about how none of the characters were likeable. I thought that was a clever way to tie the story together.
This book was a lot of fun and as my 3rd book by this author I can attest that we aren't reading real life stories, somethings might not seem like they could happen in real life it still is a really good time.
