bibliotequeish 's review for:
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
by Glyn Robbins, C.S. Lewis
The chronicles of Narnia series was the seed that bloomed into a life long love of reading.
This author, these characters, will always stay with me.
When I was a kid, I was really shy. And I use to hide in the library during recess.
The librarian Madam Danielle would always usher me back outside.
And then again, never fail, I would slink back into the library, not to read... just to hide.
Eventually the patient Madam Danielle figured if I was going to sit in the library (which I would) I might as well read.
So she handed me a copy of the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, and it quite literally changed my life.
It was that teacher, who set me on a course of reading. It was this book that blew my mind.
