“I love you. I've loved you from the beginning. And I will love you long after the last stars dies. I will love you until the end of darkness itself.”
Callypso (Callie) is a siren and over the years have been asking for favours from the Bargainer. He can make anything happen, but you now owe him repayment or death. Callie happens to have asked enough favours to fill a bracelet with beads. This story follows their relationship as they try to save the fae world.
I obviously loved this, and think anyone who enjoyed A Court of Thorns and Roses would also love this. This also follows a Hades and Persephone type storyline, which is always enjoyable for me. I liked that you get to see multiple time periods, it really helps with getting to know the characters and made unravelling their history way more enjoyable.
Des is hot as fuck and has been added to my husband list. My girl Callie is such a badass and I loved her character. The romance was great, the tension, chemistry and smut were really enjoyable. I loved how their romance unfolded and can't wait to read the next book to see what happens.
