The Undomestic Goddess
by Sophie Kinsella
I have to say this was a fun book in that it was neat to see where Samantha's brain would take her. she's a quirky and fun character with which i could identify with in a lot of ways. However, this time around, i wasn't as thrilled with the writing as i have been from this author. Some parts seemed rushed and clunky -- for example, some of the romantic scenes with Samantha and Nathaniel. I wanted more development of their relationship. I'm not sure how, but it just seemed to be missing something.
Still, it was a good, fun read that taught me even more about first person writing. Definitely worth the chick-lit detour.
