All the Dangerous Things by Stacy Willingham

this book started extremely slow but somehow kept me intrigued and engaged enough to want to solve the mystery that was ongoing. the writing was elegant, the descriptions were on point and soul touching. at the same time, there was a lot of telling more than showing. the descriptions got overwhelming to read because every detail was being described which made the story drag on.

isabelle, the mc, was quite unhinged. she tried justifying being involved with a married man + rooted for her ex husband’s ex wife’s downfall. not like hehehehaha it’s jokes, she was dead serious. that added to the belief of her harming her son and made me question her character, adding to the suspense and urge to figure out whoreallydunit. the mystery surrounding the son’s disappearance was puzzling and almost comical because the signs were blaring red!

i was rooting for izzy and way-way, i swore up and down that they were gonna start a lil sumn and live out a happily ever after
