I definitely have a few mixed emotions on this book and I don't think I'll be able to write a fully coherent review so I'll just list my thoughts below :)
Thoughts:
1. I didn't really like the pacing (not a lot happened in this 400 page book and all the big events came so slowly). I got bored easily and I almost DNFed it.
2. I love Crier, her emotion and passion just jump off the page.
3. Ayla's character seems to be lacking something. Her anger and motives don't feel very strong :/
4. I was very excited for the political intrigue but like I said earlier, lots of writing but very little action, so I was a bit disappointed.
