This series is consistently blowing me away. This book in particular, finally got a character that annoyed me. It's funny because our evil villain did not make me hate him this much because of how sidetrack he gets. Our fairy godmother on the other hand, makes me want to bang my head against the table with all her wacky romantic plans. We finally got to see Owen and Katie dating in this book though, so that was exciting. I loved the fact that Owen ended up taming some dragons, we meet Owen's foster parents, and Rod ended up finding love of his own, but the ending of this book was bittersweet. I am so glad to be reading this book when I know there are 7 books in this series rather than thinking this was the final book like some other readers who were following this series from the beginning were.
