Liked this one more than the first. I feel like I blew through it. The climax wasn’t what I was expecting.

I felt a little cheated by the resolution and the resurrection of the First Star. I would have preferred the all characters to keep their shadows so we could see how they chose to proceed after Never Land. But at the same time, there was something beautiful about Ava and Hudson coming back together. Because while their memories of each other gone, their hearts still remember. I also wish we knew more about what happened to The Lost Boys, especially Bones and Ash. And I would have liked to see Paris after Neverland as well. I loved his character in the first book but the author really did him dirty in the second. He got lost in the storyline and it wasn’t fair to his character to be forgotten like that.
