I really enjoyed this! I read it for book club and many of us agreed. It is quite trope-heavy, but I was into that. It felt like a very classic rom-com pick. Especially for a debut, I thought the writing was very solid, so I'm excited to see what Kate Robb does next. Gemma is a loveable protagonist, but I couldn't help but want to shake her, make her grow up, and pay attention to a single thing around her. I wish some plot points were fleshed out more, but I can't deny it was a fun read. Contemporary romance fans will likely agree.
