These two had a really good connection, a bit of a grumpy sunshine, and he's a bit socially clueless. A relatively low angst book, given how many terrible things happen. I loved the mother, she was the best parental figure, lots of info, always wanting what's best. The first half of the book was a solid 5 stars, though the second half felt a bit less developed, a bit more reliant on plot to drive the readers interest.
