The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
5.0

I found this book a charming and quick read. The protagonist, Don Tillman, is very relatable, self-aware in a lot of ways even as he completely misses social cues in the various funny and touching stages of his 'love project.'

Some reviewers disliked Don's characterisation but personally, I didn't find Don to be a stereotypical portrayal of someone on the autism spectrum. Don is non-neurotypical but Graeme Simsion wasn't heavy-handed; nor did he seem to be trying specifically to shatter perceptions about what this means.

As a love story between two offbeat individuals with a lot of flaws and a lot to offer, I thought this was very well done.
