2nd book in the revamped (pun intended) series about twin sisters. One living in a palace with vampire, the other training to be a slayer of them. Nothing extraordinary about the storyline that we haven't read before. Twins, prophecy, save the world, yada yada. What I do enjoy greatly are the characters that the authors ( the twisted sisters) write. They are not perfect people, selfish, desperate, wrathful and hopeful. There are layers there, and it's those layers that make a reader want to carry on with a series.
Ps. The authors are nicknamed the twisted sisters as they often leave their books on cliffhangers, and their readership desperate to know what happens next.
