Sarah Dessen was one of my favorite authors as a teen, so when I saw some of her books were being adapted for television I ended up back down the rabbit hole. This one was always one of my favorites as I loved the relationship between Remy and Dexter. As an adult, I find it like it less. I appreciate the characters youthful nature and promise of a life still ahead, however I found Dexter less romantic and more frustrating and pushy. Overall, I still really enjoyed the journey back across my favorite stories and still have so much love for Sarah Dessen and all her books.
