I enjoyed this book for what it was. I do think it gets better as you continue reading. Small things mentioned play bigger parts in the story later which I love about a book. I hated the character names though. Benjamiah??? Pick a struggle. Either Benjamin or Jeremiah! Jordan Lees did this multiple times with names. Terrible.
