This was a fun little book!! My favorite part is that Alastor kept calling Prosper, "Maggot," which reminded me of Konshu from Moon Knight calling Stephen, "Worm," and so I couldn't help but be endeared to this pair.
Overall it's not terribly spooky, though it is a bit atmospheric, and I would suggest if you have a kid who wants to try horror but might still be a scaredy cat, this is a good place to start!
