The whimsical artwork continues to shine in volume 2. I enjoyed this volume a little more than I did volume 1, because there was more character development and the story also evolved further (of course). I still find myself cheering Vanilla on more than Chocolat, though... and I’m not sure if that’s how I’m “supposed” to feel.

Looking forward to volume 3!
