I have mixed feelings with this book. Plot and writing-wise, it is adequately compelling and emotionally eloquent, but it is hard to conclude its reading experience when you are left with plenty of matters of the story unattended--where the heck is Haida the Son and Father and the mysterious pianist? Was Kuro's passing really brought by her mental health crises and anguish?
I am supposed to enjoy it given that the manner of articulating the suspense and clue crumbs made me tread the novel quickly but dang. This is a whack of a book but an interesting read nonetheless.
