When I saw that this book was a reimagining of The Picture of Dorian Gray, I knew I just had to read it, and it was everything I had hoped for.
All the characters were so well written to the point that it felt like a real, non-fictional story to me. I became so invested with the background of each character, wanting to know more but also glad that the book left me to think for myself.
This dark, uncanny and eerie book was an amazing read, and one that you should definitely read if you want a story that was twisted by the worst human emotions that we try to fight off everyday and the consequences we face if we fail.
