This took me a second to get back into it, but I soon was reminded just how good and well written Alaric and Talasyn are as a couple.

Their slow burn becoming frantic obsession that they can’t admit to one another was perfection. 

Book 3 is going to be spectacular. I’m already excited for “where is my wife” moments.
