This novel deals with themes of Faith, "Purity", Responsibility & Destiny.
It is part 1 of 2
I wanted to learn everything much faster than the author was telling it.
I am assuming it was on purpose that the audience is not sure for a good part of the novel whether magic is real or not. I personally wanted that settled MUCH SOONER THAN IT WAS.
The 2 main characters feel very fleshed-out to me and understandable. The world feels very real.
I would recommend to those who enjoy mystery and not knowing until the very last moment.
