The Courage to Be Disliked: How to Free Yourself, Change your Life and Achieve Real Happiness
by Fumitake Koga, Ichiro Kishimi
3.5 ⭐️
The concepts in this book are really interesting and I appreciate that they were presented in straightforward language with multiple examples. I did not like the format, though. The dialogue between the philosopher and the youth was so stiff and contrived, especially the youth. I don’t believe anyone would say the things he said or do the things he did. I understand he existed to illustrate the concepts but it was annoying and took me out of the book.
