The Neighbor's Secret by L. Alison Heller

3.0

3.5 stars. I liked the author’s writing style and the plot of the story—family and neighbourhood secrets. Most of this is a real page turner—for me it lagged slightly at the end for whatever reason, but that wasn’t enough to diminish my enjoyment of the first 80% of the book.

I was also tickled by the book club aspect—the queen of the book club is a very cringeworthy character but I liked reading her emails about each upcoming book.

S0, overall, nothing earth shattering, but definitely entertaining without insulting my intelligence. If you like Liane Moriarty’s books, give it a try.
