I won this book from a First Reads Giveaway. The love story between Sam and Allie was adorable. I am a huge fan of stories from this books time frame, which probably only made me like this book even more. I will say though that I was rather annoyed at how fast the book moved. Months passed out of no where and we were never told what happened in the time passing. At times it was difficult to even tell how much time passed, whether it was a night or 8 months... I also was not a huge fan at how quickly Allie "found God" and she started using his name to comfort family members and the family members acted as if this was normal for her... she was so stubborn for the first 3/4 of the book and then out of nowhere she has more faith than probably anyone in her town?? Overall it was a really cute story and enjoyable to read.
