As a male white person, this book offers you a different perspective of the world. It showed me again and again the privilege, I carry with me. My passport, how I am treated at the doctors, and to act  without thinking that my skin colour  influences my job success. But the book also bonded with me when it circled around homesickness, complicated love and the feeling to satisfy your parents. I really enjoyed the perspective this book offered me though at times it dragged on a little for my taste.
