The Paladin Caper by Patrick Weekes

5.0

I haven't read many trilogies that were as satisfying as this one. Throughout all three books, characters made cameos that were substantial and satisfying, the relationships between the main characters evolved in a natural manner that didn't seem forced, and the story rose and fell in natural conclusions.

That being said, this last book was the best out of the three, mainly because it was non-stop action from beginning to end. The first two books were pretty straight heist novels with fantasy elements, this one was pure climax, action-adventure through and through.

5/5, pick up the whole trilogy if you have the time.
