I enjoyed this. I think that the author did a good job capturing the nuances of these cases and the ways that victims are often blamed, shamed, and not believed. I like that we were sort of going through two cases at once and I was curious about how they were connected but I predicted that
the killer from the older case was the father of the current victim
by chapter 26

I will say that I was very annoyed by
Hannah constantly following Rachel and leaving her letters rather than just talking to her as if she weren't the one who reached out first. I understand that telling her story was hard but it turned into stalking and harassment after the first few letters and it was excessive
