i love sport romances <3 corny and tropey but it's ya romance so it's all expected 😎 loveeee to see a masc-fem pairing and i liked all the side characters. alexa was kind of unnecessarily mean towards charlie in the beginning and it was a problem to me until i remembered...mean fems are the backbone to the community and i also enjoyed pissing girls off in hs. i like the choice of charlie coming to terms with how her mum shows up rather than her mum changing but maybe a conversation between the two about the impact of her absence would've been interesting. my only complaint is that it didn't make a lot of sense that alexa had never stood up for frankie against homophobia or apologised that much to both charlie and frankie. I HAD SO MUCH FUNNNN!
