Slightly Dangerous
by Mary Balogh
once again duped by my own illiteracy into reading the last of a series first. I liked these two and it's unique to see someone be a Nice character but be so ungodly mean to try to get a rise out of someone. I do understand - my husband when he was my boyfriend was impossible to fight with due to implacability. she needn't worry, having children will help you get all your fighting in
I do have such a fondness for a mistressy plot even when it goes nowhere as is so often the case, and I'm not sure exactly what itch it gets to. maybe it's the forthrightness and easiness about sex.
