Death and Croissants by Ian Moore

3.0

Twins, hens and a french B&B (don't call it a B&B) combine to give us the basis for Ian Moore's captivating debut novel.
Joining the ranks of great comedians who have swapped a mic for a pen, Moore creates a very French murder mystery. Only his makes you laugh.
Think A Year In Provence meets Murder In Provence, only not in Provence and with a reluctant Barnaby (the second one) at the helm. With hints of dark goings on never far away.
It's gentle, it's funny, and there's a Chihuahua in a handbag.
