Fathers and Sons by Ivan Turgenev

What is it about Russian literature? Often long winded (though not this one), but the characters and the emotion…wow.

Bazarov - what an arrogant ass. Arkady - young and persuadable. Madame O - an independent woman - how rare a thing.
And the parents - the love for their sons, knowing they will be leaving you again. Timeless.
