I like the well intentioned idea of writing this book for foreigners who want to understand the hygge concept, but the implementation is poor - the book is too repetitive, and full of unnecessary pictures, it’s annoying to turn page after page and it’s just random pictures of things. It is also too personal to the author rather than informative - we get it, you own woollen socks and you once went skiing in the french alps with your friends. You’ve mentioned it several times. The entire thing could be cut in half if not less and you’d have the same book.
