4.5 That was a really fun beginning of what looks to be a great paranormal series.
In an effort of save his brother Caleb accidentally gets possessed by a demon hunting vampire. And because he wasn’t fully dead when possessed, Caleb can hear the vampire in his head. Their conversations were well done and hilarious half the time.
Meet John, an exorcist trying to hunt down demons. After failing to exorcise Caleb’s vampire, the two start to figure out what next. If he can’t exorcise the vampire, maybe he has to figure out another way to save Caleb. Meanwhile, he’s pretty attracted to the guy. And the feeling was mutual.
I enjoyed the journey, as short as this was, this was really well done. I’m looking forward to seeing how this series progresses and how Caleb and John work together as a couple...sort of couple.
