The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks

2.0

I watched the trailer of the movie, and it looked better than the book. Even the trailer looked better. The Notebook is the MOST overrated book of all time. I've heard people cried reading it. I didn't. I laughed at times. And I laughed at the ending. There were a good twenty pages left when I turned to the other and saw the book had ended. (the next twenty pages or so were a sneakpeak of The Wedding.) And it ended on what? The Alzheimer's sufferer Allie, opening buttons of the shirt of Noah. An aged man of eighty. God, this book was awful. And I'm so glad I've finished it. I expected a better ending. Especially not a sexual ending. This entire book was disappointing. From the beginning till the end.
