I was such a fan of Sharp Teeth, but unfortunately this novel disappoints. Pretty much all the characters were dull, they lacked any sort of personality and the plot was fuzzy for a majority of the book.
Why did Zoya like Will? Why did Olga turn Vido into a flea and not just kill him? Why did Max, the rat, so Olga’s bidding after she turned him into a rat? What’s the deal with Oliver? What was the point of inserting some random racist inner dialogue by the main character. I did like the young girl with the chicken, but she was a minor character.
Overall disappointed.
