Canyon Sacrifice by Scott Graham

3.0

*I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for a review.

I loved the concept behind this well-written and short debut novel, a series of mystery books set in national parks. Who hasn't camped in a state or national park and not imagined the nefarious activities committed by the surrounding strangers? And while this first novel had a few problems that could be fixed by a good editing, the main character was engaging, the descriptions of the Grand Canyon pulled me in, and the author managed to surprise me in the end. I've already moved on to the second book and I'm enjoying it even more than the first.
