I absolutely loved this book! (even though it made me sob horrendously, close the book, and want to throw it across the room) Throughout all 512 pages, I was hooked. The story of the monsters, Roma and Juliette, the dispute between the two families, and all the supporting characters were page-turners. It doesn't compare to the first one, but it was still phenomenal to read.
I had an amazing time reading it and even gave the duet to one of my closest friends so we could both talk about how good it was. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves romance, (specifically the trope, enemies to lovers) mystery, adventure, and suspense.
I love the world and the characters Chloe Gong has created, and I'll be keeping them close to my heart until the day I die. I'll be rereading this for sure.
The romance between Benedikt and Marshall as well?? Absolutely loved that, I've been rooting for them since the first book and I was insanely happy when their friendship blossomed into something more!
