This book had great ideas but suffered from unrealistic relationship development between the two main characters. I feel like that scene

in Mr. Singkham's office where they confront him about Three

took off at least 1 whole point for me. I didn't find it realistic in the context of the story. I liked the Calvary scene the most and thought that Vanessa's PTSD from childhood abuse seemed realistic but for a book that's supposed to be a romantic comedy, I struggled caring about the romance part and found everything else more interesting.
