When Phoebe arrives on Alexander’s ranch to be his new nanny, he is taken by surprise at his family’s scheming: what is going to be a reprieve for Phoebe is going to be what causes Alexander the most stress, or at least that is what they both start out thinking. However, that quickly changes. As Phoebe continues to show up for his boys, Alexander realizes that is something she has missed and begins to become someone she can rely on (it was precious that he and his family both got her stockings). With their changing relationship, can he let her in, or will they only be able to be a secret? I hated that their exes kept making appearances when they were trying to move on; it felt like they were continuously 1 step forward and 3 steps back. I love that Phoebe met the boys where they were at and made everyday tasks and arguments enjoyable, like who is the fastest rider.
