When I saw Feather was a romance with angels, I was sold.
I haven’t read a lot of books about angels, and a romance sounded so interesting to me.
And Olivia Wildenstein delivered: the concept and the execution of the world of angel was really well done and allowed for the perfect setting for this romance.
Leigh is such a sweet MC, she is sensitive, compassionate and always sees the good in people. Jarod on the other end, is the perfect polar opposite.
I really liked the way the story developed and how the characters both influenced each other in so many ways. I also really loved that Leigh is this angelic being, yet she has flaws and Jarod does not mind one bit. Also, I always love it when the female MC is described as curvy and out of the norm.
The only reason this book was not a five star for me, is probably the ending. I made the mistake of reading the synopsis of the second book before reading this first one. So, I got spoiled, and it hurt. And I think I would have appreciated the ending more if I didn’t know beforehand. Also, I have to admit that, even though Jarod was cute and sweet with Leigh, I didn’t really love him as much as I thought I would. And, I guessed all the plot twists.
Overall, Feather was a great romance and I am actually really intrigued by the second book, especially because it focuses on Celeste and Asher.
