The Defining Decade: Why Your Twenties Matter—And How to Make the Most of Them Now by Meg Jay
4.0
Some of her case studies are pretty unrelatable (like that girl who lost her virginity to a singer in a car backseat?? Hello???) and i feel like she runs a thin edge between giving really solid advice & implying that getting married/having kids/buying a house etc is the only blueprint to a happy and successful life…
That being said, this is a book I’ll come back to over and over again - I wonder if the chapters and the advice here will feel more relatable as I go on my 20s! My fav chapters: cohabitation effect, calm yourself (definitely felt like my life was over after a couple of mistakes at work lol), a social experiment, every body
